Beth Ford, a global thought leader and collaborator with a history of convening business and policy voices and conversations, is the well-tenured and influential president and CEO of Land O’Lakes, Inc. Bringing a valuable perspective on economic success and influence for both national business interests and rural America, Ford has led the Fortune 250 company and more than century-old farmer and retail member-owned cooperative since 2018.

Land O’Lakes, operating in all 50 states and 60 countries, touches half the harvested acres and 10,000 rural communities in the nation, and feeds 100 million animals each day. During her tenure, Land O’Lakes has focused on its members, the technology that enables them, and on ensuring the vibrance and connection of the communities in which they live and work, as recognized by the 60 Minutes piece “The Farmer’s Advocate.”

Ford, who was featured in the “Titans” category of TIME100 Most Influential Companies in the World and named one of the TIME100 Most Influential People, has brought her unique perspective to areas including trade, broadband access, immigration, global food security, and broad policy issues affecting working people. She is informed by her breadth of experience prior to Land O’Lakes in senior positions in seven companies in six industries.

Her time on the Boards of Directors for the Business Roundtable (chairing the Immigration Committee), Starbucks, BlackRock, Inc. and PACCAR, as well as numerous other industry, non-profit and university boards, have equipped her to address a wide array of issues. This perspective was noted specifically in numerous media recognitions, including being profiled in The New York Times, listed among Fortune’s 100 Most Powerful People in Business and landing No. 12 on their Most Powerful Women list in 2025.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in business from Columbia Business School.

David Booth is Chairman of Dimensional Fund Advisors, a firm he founded in 1981. Under David’s leadership, Dimensional has grown from a fledgling business operating out of the spare room of his Brooklyn brownstone apartment to a global investment manager with more than 1,600 employees and $1.1 trillion (USD) in assets under management. David led Dimensional as CEO and later Co-CEO until 2017, when he stepped back from the daily management of the firm. He remains closely involved in strategic initiatives at Dimensional.

A trailblazer in the financial world, David helped create one of the world’s first index funds in the 1970s and launched the first passively managed small company strategy in the early ’80s. He has spent his career applying groundbreaking financial theory and research to the practical world of asset management, working closely with renowned academics to develop innovative investment strategies that he believed could outperform index funds, pioneering what would later be called factor investing.

David received a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1968 and a master’s degree in business in 1969 from the University of Kansas. In 1971, he received an MBA from the University of Chicago. Over the years, David has been a benefactor to both schools. Upon announcing a gift from the Booth family to the business school at Chicago in 2008, David cited his education there as being instrumental to his later success with Dimensional. The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is named in David’s honor, and the gift has helped to advance its field-defining research and to support the school’s faculty, a number of whom have had close ties to Dimensional. David has also donated to support athletics at the University of Kansas—as a boy, he ushered there at football games—and he is a vocal advocate of the role sports play in keeping alumni connected to a school.

An avid art collector and enthusiast, David has participated in and donated to artistic initiatives across the US, and the David Booth Conservation Center and Department is responsible for the preservation of the Museum of Modern Art’s collection in New York.

Thanks to his father’s travel business, which designed custom European trips, Danny spent much of his childhood eating, visiting near and far-off places, and sowing the seeds for his future passion. In 1985, at the age of 27, Danny opened his first restaurant, Union Square Cafe, launching what would become a lifelong career in hospitality.

Forty years later, Danny’s Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) comprises some of New York’s most beloved and acclaimed restaurants, including Gramercy Tavern, The Modern, Maialino, and more. Danny and USHG founded Shake Shack, the modern-day “roadside” burger restaurant, which became a public company in 2015. USHG also offers large-scale event services, foodservice solutions for public and private institutions, industry consulting, and educational programming.

Under Danny’s leadership, USHG is renowned not only for its acclaimed restaurants but also for its distinctive and celebrated culture of Enlightened Hospitality. This guiding principle of prioritizing employees first and foremost has driven and shaped USHG’s ongoing evolution from a small group of restaurants into a multi-faceted hospitality organization.

Danny and USHG’s diverse ventures have added to the hospitality dialogue in many contexts including dining options in museums, sports arenas, and cultural institutions, as well as prescient investments in burgeoning neighborhoods.

A celebrated speaker and educator, Danny has set industry standards in areas such as hiring practices, innovative leadership, and corporate responsibility and addresses a wide range of audiences on such topics around the country.

Danny has taken a leadership role in a handful of organizations, public, private, philanthropic, and academic. He is Chairman of the Board of Shake Shack (NYSE: SHAK) as well as Union Square Hospitality Group. He serves on the Board of Olo (NYSE: OLO), and previously served as a board member for OpenTable (NASDAQ: OPEN), Sotheby’s (NYSE: BID) and The Container Store (NYSE: TCS). He was Chairman of the New York Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), has served as a Trustee for Trinity College in Hartford, Ct., and as a board member for Share Our Strength, the Madison Square Park Conservancy, and Union Square Partnership.

Danny has been generously recognized for his leadership, business achievements, and humanitarianism, including the 2017 Julia Child Award, the 2015 TIME 100 “Most Influential People” list, the 2012 Aspen Institute Preston Robert Tisch Award in Civic Leadership, the 2011 NYU Lewis Rudin Award for Exemplary Service to New York City, and the 2000 IFMA Gold Plate Award. Together, Danny and USHG’s restaurants and individuals have won an unprecedented 28 James Beard Awards, including Outstanding Restaurateur (2005) and Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America (1996).

Danny and his wife, Audrey, live in New York City and have four children.
Biden to serve on the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States; and has written 115 books and articles, including his treatise, American Constitutional Law, cited more than any other legal text since 1950. Former Solicitor General Erwin Griswold wrote: “[N]o book, and no lawyer not on the [Supreme] Court, has ever had a greater influence on the development of American constitutional law,” and former U.S. Court of Appeals Judge J. Michael Luttig tweeted in January 2023, “Laurence H. Tribe has been the Nation’s preeminent constitutional scholar for the past half century.”

	Moderator: Nader Mousavizadeh

Mark Carney is Canada’s 24th Prime Minister. He was elected Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada and sworn in as Prime Minister in March 2025. He leads a government that will take action to unite Canadians, defend Canada’s sovereignty, and build the strongest economy in the G7.

Born in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Prime Minister Carney is the son of teachers and grew up with a strong sense of community and hard work. After graduating from St. Francis Xavier High School in Edmonton, he earned a Bachelor of Economics from Harvard University in 1988, followed by a Master of Economics in 1993 and a PhD in Economics in 1995, both from Oxford University.

Prime Minister Carney started his career in finance before joining Canada’s public service to help ensure our economy supports the things that Canadians value – like health care, security, and a life you can afford. As Governor of the Bank of Canada during the 2008 financial crisis, he guided our country through one of the most turbulent economic periods in modern history, protecting jobs and helping ensure that Canada came out stronger. In 2013, he was recruited to lead the Bank of England, stewarding the United Kingdom’s economy through Brexit and the economic and political crises that followed. In 2020, he began serving as the United Nations Special Envoy on Climate Action and Finance, helping rally the world to build stronger economies as we fight climate change.

Prime Minister Carney’s government is focused on growing our great country, creating more higher-paying jobs, putting more money in Canadians’ pockets, and making Canada more secure.

Prime Minister Carney and his wife, Diana, are the proud parents of four children.

Orlando Bravo is a Founder and Managing Partner of Thoma Bravo. He led Thoma Bravo’s early entry into software buyouts and built the firm into one of the largest software-focused investors in the world, with over $183 billion in assets under management.1 Today, Orlando directs the firm’s strategy and investment decisions in accordance with its principles of partnership, innovation and performance. He has overseen approximately 580 software and technology acquisitions conducted by the firm, representing approximately $305 billion of aggregate value.2

Orlando was born and raised in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Brown University, and earned a JD from Stanford Law School and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
