Meanwhile, US ally President Javier Milei of Argentina on Thursday touted the country's vast natural resources and pledge to keep AI unregulated as reasons to invest in the South American country.
Speaking to investors at
the Economic Club in New York
, Milei pointed to Argentina's energy and mineral resources, along with its vast "land on which to build" AI data centers.
"Argentina has taken a very clear position" on artificial intelligence, Milei said in Spanish. "We are not going to regulate."
