Robyn Grew is CEO of Man Group, a global alternative investment management firm with USD 227.6 billion* assets under management that is listed on the London Stock Exchange. As CEO, she leads the firm’s Executive Committee and is an executive director on the Man Group Board.
Since joining Man Group in 2010 through its acquisition of GLG, Robyn has served as Group COO, Head of ESG, General Counsel, and most recently, President. Robyn led Man Group’s corporate reorganisation in 2019 and has also spearheaded the firm’s diversity programme.
Yana Watson Kakar is Managing Director and Head of Americas. Based in New York, she is a member of the management team that develops and implements La Caisse’s international strategy. In addition to heading the New York office, Yana oversees La Caisse’s offices in Mexico and Brazil. She works closely with the heads of the asset classes in developing La Caisse’s investment strategy and partnerships across the Americas region while strengthening the existing portfolio of constructive capital invested in private equity, fixed income, real estate, infrastructure, technology, and equity markets.
A seasoned executive, Ms. Watson Kakar has dedicated her career to generating economic and financial returns through the application of inclusive and sustainable business and investment strategies. Before joining La Caisse, she was the CEO of Growth for Good, an investment company with a strategic focus on decarbonization of the global economy.
Ted is the founder of Capital Allocators, a platform that seeks to compound knowledge and relationships with asset owners and investment firms. He launched the Capital Allocators podcast in 2017. The show reached 20 million downloads in August 2024 and has been recognized as the top institutional investing podcast.
Ted created Capital Allocators Summits alongside Rahul Moodgal to bring together industry leaders, Capital Allocators University for rising professionals to learn key investment skills, Capital Allocators Advisory to work with managers on business strategy, and Capital Allocators Coaching with a team of retired asset management executives.
Ted previously worked under David Swensen at the Yale Investments Office, invested directly at three of Yale’s managers, co-founded and served as Co-CIO of Protégé Partners, and made a famous bet with Warren Buffett. He has authored three investment books. Ted graduated Cum Laude from Yale University and received an MBA from Harvard Business School.
